Noa Noa

Noa Noa began its operations in 1981.  They opened doors in Northern Zealand in an old farm house from the early 19th century.  From this home they offered women's fashions that moved into girl's

fashions later on.  Harald Holstein began the company because of his dislike of fashions from the 1980's.  He found the fashions in the early part of 1980 to be uniform like.  With the help of his brother they soon had a company that is one of Denmark's top fashion brands.  Noa Noa miniature began in 2003 with many kids fashions.  In 2007 they sold 70 percent of their company to Axcel, but they continue to run the daily operations.

Noa NOa has stayed away from the uniform look by offering cute designs for girls.  Many of their styles are more country in design offering plaids, stripes, and simple fashion to make a girl look like a beautiful young women.  The first design in the "Look Book" offered is a skirt with denim suspenders. The skirt comes to the knees with a pink dress beneath the skirt.  The pink dress acts like a slip at the bottom to make the outfit comfortable.  At the top you have a ruffle neckline that is rounded and ruffled short sleeves.  This design is capped with a denim embroidered hat that hands low on the head.  Next is another innovation.  With a plaid shirt tight around the upper body to give it form it loosens towards mid body.  The sleeves are just a below the shoulders and flair out.  Underneath this blouse is a tank top of cream or white.  Then comes the shorts to finish off the look.  The shorts come to the top of the knees.  They are a little baggy, but they are snug at the waist.  At the bottom of the short legs are ties on either side offering a bit of style.  The shorts are a little pleated at the waist.

One of my favourite designs is the jumpsuit.  The jumpsuit is a pale pink with an accompanying sweater.  The jumpsuit has a belt at the waist for definition.  It has a rounded collar with short sleeves.  The pant legs are loose fitting and taper to the ankles were the material is bunched a little and offering ruffles.  The sweater is simple in design with buttons down the front.  It can hang loose and open to give a summer garden party style.
