Lakris

Lakris is a newer kid's clothing shop that you might enjoy.  It was created in 2007 with both a winter and summer look.  Their inspiration came from kids in their lives in order to offer something for

infants up to eight years old.  The designs are full of character that any child would enjoy wearing.  Their outfits fit in with winter or summer depending on the time of year.  For winter clothing you should expect to see a lot of long coats, jumpers and pants.  Their pants are rather loose instead of being formfitting.  Most of the designs will have a special geometric shape to accompany the clothing.  For example, on one of the kids outfits for a two to three year old, you might find blue or grey loose fitting pants, boots, and a shirt that is brown in colour with black stripes.  In the centre of the shirt is a black star.

Another outfit from Lakris has the green jumper with black cuffs.  In the centre of the jumper is a black circle.  A ladies jacket in black has a white circle on the back to add a distinctive look to the entire outfit.  It is something children would be attracted to because of the difference from the animal and flower prints they normally find. 

There are regular outfits as well to fit in with the geometric.  For a young ladies dress they have a white material filled with purple and blue flower shapes.  The colour is ringed with a touch of black to offset it from the rest of the dress.  The sleeves are long and cuffed with elastic to help them stay down and the child to stay a little warmer.  The dresses are often knee length.

For the boys there are jeans in a variety of dark blues and light blues.  They have pockets on the side to make them a little more useful.  You also have a variety of shirts to choose from.  There is one tee shirt with long sleeves that is blue with brown stripes.  You also have the choice in regular dress shirts with checked patterns or stripes.  These shirts come in a variety of different colours, with the same loose fitting comfortable style you would want for your child.  Each collection has been designed for the current trends.  The clothes are also looser fitting than many young adults, making them more comfortable.
