Claire

Claire Group was started in 1975 and has been a strong retail company since its inception.  Claire started out with women's fashion, but in 1981 they decided to launch into kid's fashion.  A boy's

collection was later added in 1984 with "New Facts." They also divided their children's collection into Junior's and Kids.  In 1990 Claire Kids was launched as a separate company from Claire Group.  In 1996 Mini Claire was started for ages 6 months up to 3 years.  1999 saw the addition of newborn to six months clothing in the Claire Kids stores.  Since then Claire Kids and Claire Group have expanded into several different areas not just dealing with clothing, but also golf, and home decoration.  The corporation is based in Denmark, but they have stores in the UK as well for their kid's line.

At Claire Kids there are a variety of options in the fashion department.  Claire has combined fantasy with practicality.  They have monster truck outfits, wild animals, princesses, English Highland styles, and even disco queen styles.  Many of the colours used are green, blue, brown, natural, and sand.  They also have clothing with white and grey melange, red, pink, rose, violet, and purple.  These combinations are offered in a variety of clothing styles to help make the child feel special as well as hip.

The Boy's collection is often raw and a little rough.  There are puff prints with coloured fabrics, animals and car prints.  There is also a street style to some of their clothing, offering the graffiti elements and foil prints.  Check patterns, stripes, torn edges and the long in fashion pleats help offer character to many of the outfits sold in their stores.

The sizes are going to differ as well as the styles depending on the age of child.  For newborns up to three years old there is typically less character to the outfits with bodysuits, but they do have fashion in mind even for your little one.  As the child gets older some of the styles become more sophisticated to offer a better look, a look a child would be more cognizant of.

They offer shorts, shirts, tank tops, dresses, skirts, and much more in their kid's collection.  Each season Claire will offer a different fashion to keep up with current trends in the market.  The teen collection is one of the most superb for keeping with the fashions of the year.
